What to pay?

Questions you should ask

Do you currently advertise in “The Big Yellow book” or other directories or magazines?

If so, do you know how many sales enquiries come from your adverts?

If you do, have you worked out a cost per enquiry?

Is your cost per enquiry more than £3.00?

If it is you should at least look at Pay Per Click marketing.

This is because unless you have a business with high keyword costs, such as “Car Insurance”, undoubtedly you will get a better return on your money.

What else should I know?

You only pay for those who click through to your web site and by nature they will only do that if your product or service is of interest.

You can geographically target areas making sure that only customers you can service will see your adverts.

You can also target by time of day or month of the year which is useful if your business has certain peaks

Is there a minimum cost involved?

To be honest unless you are prepared to budget for at least £100 per week or a spend of £5k per annum then it is probably not worth considering.
