Priority 3 status

This site meets Priority 3 guidelines and as such can be accessed easily by users with accessibility problems.

To change the text size

Microsoft Internet Explorer

If you are using Internet Explorer, go to the menu at the top of the browser window and select “View”. Then from the list of options, select “Text Size”. You will see a side menu open up from which you can select the text size you wish to use. Alternatively go to “Tools” followed by “Internet Options” and select “Accessibility.” Then put a tick in the first three boxes to ignore colours, font styles and font sizes on web pages. After you have done this click “Ok.” The page will then show with all graphics removed and in black and white.

Firefox (Mozilla)

If you are using Firefox, go to the menu at the top of the browser window and select “View”. Then from the list of options, select “Text Size”. You will see a side menu open up from which you can select the size you wish to use. Firefox also allows the text size to be changed with keyboard shortcuts:

Netscape Navigator

If you are using Netscape Navigator the text size is altered via keyboard shortcuts:

Apple Mac

For a computer using a Macintosh operating system:

Navigation using the TAB key

The tab key elements are set to run starting at the Accessibility Help link at the very top left of the page followed by all the top menu links in order left to right. From here the tab key moves through the breadcrumb menu, if required, then to the left hand page section followed by the page body through the right side section and then through the bottom menu.

Access keys

To use access keys please follow the guidelines below:

For Windows Internet Explorer 7 users, you can press “ALT” plus the listed access key then release the keys and press "Enter."

For Windows Internet Explorer 6 users, you can press “ALT” plus the listed access key plus "Enter."

For Macintosh users, you can press “Control” plus the listed access key plus "Enter." You will then be taken to the page.
